The Crucifixion of Jesus

This painting was offered to our congregation as a gesture of thanks for an answered prayer.Henriette Pouliot, known to the Ursuline Sisters as our little Sister Sainte-Suzanne, had fallen ill, and her illness had delayed her entrance into the Monastery. Her mother, Mrs. Alphonse Pouliot, asked God for her daughter to be healed. Her prayers were answered, and Henriette took her vows soon after.
