Keeping Time

This magnificent clock was a gift to our community. At the time, very few families or religious communities had one. The clock was not the only method used to keep track of time in our community. Hourglasses, bells and sundials were also used. Keeping track of time was very important, as it allowed us to schedule our work and prayer time.
