Saint Augustine

In the 5th century, Saint Augustine wrote a Rule for religious congregations. Our nuns followed this “Rule” from 1572 to the end of Vatican II Council. You will find this saint in a number or places throughout the Monastery. In fact, our original house of 1642 bears his name.
